October this year

I marked October 5, 2015 as the toughest day in this year (after series of worst days in 2015).  Come to think about it, October has been a different month for me. Different month, different life. I went out every weekend. Tried new places, went by my own.
On the 3rd, I went to my senior high school with my soulmate. Ah, that place. All the memories. I took the public bus. The same bus that I used to ride back in high school days. It was a nice ride. Saturday morning. No traffic. Even I could enjoy the road in not so convenient public bus. I spent the whole day with my soulmate, went to Passer Baroe, ate the famous Bakmi Aboen, and ended up at Grand Indonesia to have dinner.
On the 10th, I went to Summarecon Mall Bekasi with my bestie. Lol. Soulmate, bestie, after all they are my best friends that still stick with me until this very day. I went to Jatibening first (her house) and then went together to SMB. Spent the whole day together, shopping, eating, talking, photo boxing. I took APTB bus this time. My second time riding in that bus. Quiet nice. Not too many people. I arrived in Bekasi in no time. For the record, Summarecon Mall Bekasi is really really similar with Summarecon Mall Serpong. Well they are construed by the same developer but still! The chair in downtown, the downtown concept, and everything else!
On the 18th, I went to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah who is staying at one of the museum (part of her job program). I took bus Transjakarta. It's not that since the bus was quite packed on Sunday morning blah. But since there's no traffic, I could not complain too long. I went home in the evening and had my favourite classic bento near my home.

For me, it was all quite a journey. I am used to going to malls only for the weekend. And the mall is usually the same. Grand Indonesia. I rarely take bus to go on the weekend. So all the APTB, bus, and Transjakarta experiences are quite new to me.

Besides those weekend activities outside home, I am currently having new routine. Twice a week I run. Yes. Running. Really running. On Thursday and Saturday. Surprisingly, it is refreshing and addictive. Thursday running is at GBK in the evening. Saturday running is at park near my home in the morning. I am quite surprised that I can get up early on Saturday morning. Come to think about it, what drives me to run is the fact that I can forget everything for a while. I'm so focused to reach my goal (checkpoint) that I can't even think about anything else. It is liberating. That's why it is addictive I guess.

I am also an early bird at the office now. I go to work at 7 am and arrive at around 8 to 8.30 am. I am not involved in drama anymore. The traffic jam is still there but not killing me. I can have a nice breakfast first thing before work. It's all good for now.

Dear October (and 2015), be good por favor :)
